Doctoral Assistant at 83% For the Chair of General Philosophy at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences at the University of Neuchâtel Starting Date : 01.02.2025 Duration of the contract: 4 years, renewable every year. Salary: from 60'112 CHF during the first year to 71’041 CHF during the fourth year (83%) Job description : • Conduct research for a doctoral thesis under the supervision of Professor Olivier Massin; • Teach 2 hours per week; • Participate in the evaluation and proctoring of exams; • Advise and mentor students; • actively engage in the development of the Institute of Philosophy (organization of conferences, promoting philosophy, etc.); • Participate in the weekly research colloquium and other colloquia and conferences organized by the Institute; • Present work related to their doctoral research at international conferences; • Participate in doctoral schools and other doctoral-level training courses; • Publish articles related to the doctoral dissertation; • Plan a one-year stay abroad while conducting doctoral research; • Be present at the Institute on a daily basis (an office and computer equipment are available).
