Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Ancient Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy at Université du Québec à Montréal invites applications for a Tenure-Track Position (Open Rank) in Ancient Philosophy.

Job Description:

- Undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervision in Ancient Philosophy;

- Research in the field;

- Academic service;

Selection Criteria:

- PhD in philosophy or related discipline at the time of hiring;

- Solid research track-record, supported for example by academic publications and/or a well-defined research agenda;

- Ability to develop and carry out a funded research program;

- Teaching experience;

- Organizational skills in relation to academic service;

- Fluency in spoken and written French;

Salary: As per UQAM-SPUQ collective agreement.
