Applicants will be evaluated on the following: (1) academic accomplishment to include an earned doctorate in Philosophy completed by the start of the appointment; (2) ability to teach a core-curriculum course in Philosophy with a strong emphasis on ethics and the morality of warfare; (3) ability or demonstrated potential to mentor cadets and assist in their development as future Army Officers; (4) ability or demonstrated potential to develop MA-level faculty; (5) ability or demonstrated potential to teach courses logic, the ethics of technology, or Asian philosophical traditions. Salary: $73,111-$82,944 annual Term: 13 month position- full time |
