Assistant Professor Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Assistant Professor, Tenure Track beginning September 2014. PhD expected by September 1,2014. Area of Specialization: Open. Area(s) of Competence: Open, but preference given to applicants who demonstrate an ability to teach in at least one of the following areas: aesthetics, philosophy of law, philosophy of education, metaphysics, epistemology, one or more areas of applied ethics, and/or Native American, African/Afro-Caribbean, Aboriginal, or another non-Western, non-Asian tradition. The department will consider all qualified applicants and has a particular interest in candidates who integrate feminist theory, critical race theory, and post-colonial theory into their teaching and research. We will begin reviewing applications on February 18, 2014 and continue until the position is filled.
