Job description

The John Marshall International Center for the Study of Statesmanship at the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond is accepting applications for the position of John Marshall Visiting Research Fellow for 2014-15.  

The Marshall Fellow will be in residence at the University of Richmond for the academic year in order to pursue his or her own advanced research in political economy as it relates to the theory and practice of statesmanship. Educational requirements: Ph.D. program in philosophy, political science, economics, or history. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, but must have completed the Ph.D. by the start date.

Applications for the fellowship are encouraged from those who have just finished or who are about to finish their doctoral dissertations. More advanced scholars on sabbatical leave who wish to be at the University of Richmond in order to pursue their research will also be considered.

Review of applications will begin on March 15 and continue until the position is filled.
