Instructional Assistant Professor - Non-Tenure-Track Description: The Honors College at the University of Houston is seeking an emerging teaching scholar in political theory or political philosophy prepared and motivated to teach close reading, analytical writing, and critical thinking in a first-year great books program and an upper-division interdisciplinary program in politics and ethics. Applicants must have completed the PhD. Experience teaching American Government or team teaching in a liberal arts or honors college environment would be particularly helpful. This is a 9-month instructional, non-tenure track appointment which may be renewed. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
