 About the area The School of Humanities offers a rich intellectual environment spanning Philosophy, History, European Languages, English and Literary Studies, and Gender Studies. As well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the School supports an active research program. The School offers an undergraduate major in Philosophy and contributes a significant amount of the curriculum to the Bachelor of Human Rights and the Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. The successful applicant will produce high-quality research in moral or political philosophy (broadly construed), and undertake tutorial teaching, lecturing, unit coordination, and student supervision in collaboration with colleagues and under the direction of the Head of School of Humanities. The applicant must be motivated to contribute to the academic environment of the School and have a strong teaching portfolio within Philosophy (relative to opportunity). About the opportunity
