Director of the Postdoctoral Research Station: Professor Huang Yong The School of Philosophy at Fudan University is one of China's top philosophy departments and a world-class institution. The school comprises five departments: Philosophy, Religious Studies, Philosophy of Science and Logic, Philosophy of Art, and Chinese Philosophy. Currently, the school has 75 faculty and staff members, including 36 professors, 26 associate professors, and 9 assistant professors. The school also houses several interdisciplinary research institutions, including the Center for Contemporary Marxism Studies, the Institute for Technology and Ethics for the Future of Humanity, and the Institute for Art. The Fudan Philosophy Postdoctoral Research Station, under the School of Philosophy at Fudan University, is now accepting applications for postdoctoral research positions: I. Basic Qualifications A doctoral degree obtained within the past 3 years, or a doctoral degree to be obtained before the start date of the postdoctoral program. II. Academic Qualifications (I) Outstanding Postdoctoral Researcher, Fudan University Excellent applicants from renowned universities and/or renowned philosophy programs (e.g., ranked in the top 100 in QS/THE/US NEWS/ARWU university rankings, and/or in the top 100 in QS/THE/US NEWS/ARWU subject rankings), who meet the full-time postdoctoral admission standards set by this institution, and possess outstanding research achievements. (II) Full-time Postdoctoral Researcher, Fudan University Applicants from universities in mainland China must have published one high-quality paper. Applicants from overseas universities must have published one journal article or two academic conference papers during their doctoral studies. Responsibilities: Conducting high-quality research, collaborating with professors both within and outside the university to establish new research areas, publishing research results in internationally renowned peer-reviewed journals, and securing external research funding, etc. Benefits: Fudan University Outstanding Postdoctoral Scholarship: Annual salary of RMB 200,000 to 230,000, depending on qualifications; Fudan University Full-time Postdoctoral Scholarship: Annual salary of RMB 150,000 to 180,000, depending on qualifications. |

Instructions:
I.The postdoctoral application process is divided into two batches annually. The application deadline for the first batch is May 31, with interviews held in mid-June. The deadline for the second batch is November 30, with interviews held in mid-December.
II. Application materials required for submission to the Philosophy Postdoctoral Station include:
(1) A cover letter, stating, among others, why you are uniquely qualified for the postdoctoral fellowship you are applying for;
(2) Curriculum Vitae (include basic personal information,such as the date of birth, educational background, research direction, academic experience and achievements, a list of publications);
(3) A copy of Doctoral Dissertation
(4) At least one sample paper (published or unpublished )

Note: 1. Applicants must contact their prospective supervisor and obtain their consent prior to submitting an application. Application materials may only be submitted after the supervisor has agreed to supervise the candidate. The supervisor must be a currently employed faculty member of the School of Philosophy at Fudan University who holds doctoral student supervision qualifications.
2. Applicants should have a clear graduation timeline and be able to obtain the PhD degree before the program start date.
