Job description

Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Philosophy of Physics, to work on the multidisciplinary project The Metaphysics of Entanglement, in Nature and in the Divine, hosted by the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Oxford. The project is directed by Dr Anna Marmodoro and has as co-investigators Professor Andrew Steane (Oxford), Professor Brian Leftow (Oxford), and Dr Christopher Hughes (King’s College London). The team will also include 2 full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellows in Metaphysics, and one in Philosophy of Religion and/or Analytic Theology. The project is supported by funding from the Templeton World Charity Foundation.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be expected to produce a number of publications as a direct consequence of his or her involvement with the project.

The successful applicant will have an outstanding record of research in philosophy of physics, with evidence of, or evidence of potential for producing distinguished research in philosophy, in particular in connection with the project’s research goals.
