Job description

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks a  Lecturer for the 2013/2014 academic year, with a target start date of August 16, 2014. 6 courses/year (3/semester). Anticipated courses include multiple sections of Logic and Reasoning (PHIL 102); Symbolic Logic (PHIL 202); and at least one mixed graduate and undergraduate course in the candidate's AOS. Required: Ph.D. prior to start date and evidence of teaching experience. Experience with large lectures preferred. This is a full time, 9 month appointment. Salary is commensurate with experience.
