| Job description |
The main criteria for all these positions are academic excellence as well as compatibility with Professor Nanay’s research and approach. The postdocs will be part of Bence Nanay’s research group (funded by ERC, FWO, FP7 CIG and BOF UA) and will work closely with Professor Nanay. So candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with his work before applying. The pay is (for US and UK standards) very generous. Postdoctoral researchers and PhD students in Belgium are public employees with very generous benefits. For all of these positions, background in the empirical sciences is an advantage. Candidates must have a PhD degree in philosophy (PhD has to be officially awarded before the starting date, which is in September 2026). There are no teaching obligations. |
