At the Faculty of Philosophy and History at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main a position is available as soon as possible for a Doctoral Researcher, area of specialization: Ethics (including Metaethics) (m/f/d) (E 13 TV-G-U, 65% part-time). The position is fixed-term for three years. The salary grade is based on the job characteristics of the collective agreement (TV-G-U) applicable to Goethe University. The job profile includes the following responsibilities: - independent research with a focus on ethics (including metaethics) - collaboration and participation in the research projects of the professorship for ethics - teaching one course per term (2 LVS) in the domain of practical philosophy Requirements for employment: - completed academic university degree (M.A. or equivalent), preferably in the field of philosophy - excellent knowledge of systematic research in ethics (including metaethics) - Dissertation project on a topic from ethics or metaethics within or closely related to the research profile of the professorship - excellent English language skills Goethe University is a family friendly employer offering flexible working schedules (including home-office opportunities), modern IT infrastructure, a collective wage agreement (including a children’s allowance) and currently a free ticket for public transportation in the state of Hesse.
