Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at Northern Arizona University is currently conducting a search for an Assistant Professor of Practice (non-tenured) to serve as the Director of the Philosophy in the Public Interest program. This is a full-time position, renewable on a year-to-year basis contingent upon effective performance, department needs, and continued funding. The person filling this position will have primary administrative duties for the College of Arts & Letters' Philosophy in the Public Interest program, and teaching responsibilities of one course per term in the Department of Philosophy.
This position will be open until filled or closed. The search to fill the Assistant Professor of Practice position with Northern Arizona University directing the Philosophy in the Public Interest program has been canceled; however, we do expect to conduct a new search with slightly different qualifications perhaps as early as Spring 2015 with a start date tentatively set for Fall 2015.
