Instructor, Philosophy, Multi-year Renewable (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at The University of Alabama is searching for instructors to fill three, three-year renewable instructorships, beginning August 16, 2014. The instructorship is non-tenure-earning, but is renewable based on availability, funding and performance. The position is considered 80% teaching, 20% service: the equivalent of 4 courses/semester plus service. Courses to be taught may include Introduction to Philosophy; introductory philosophy of mind; Critical Thinking; and Introduction to Ethics.
