Research Assistant Professor in the Division of the Humanities & Social Sciences. (EXPIRED)

The California Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time position as junior editor at The Einstein Papers Project (internal faculty title is Research Assistant Professor in the Division of the Humanities & Social Sciences.) The appointment, subject to yearly evaluations, is for an initial period of three years. The successful candidate will engage in research and editorial work designed to annotate and publish the private and professional papers and correspondence of Albert Einstein. Expertise in the history and/or philosophy of 20th century physics and excellent reading knowledge of German are required. Ph.D. degree in a pertinent field strongly desired. We seek someone who will work productively and in a timely manner in a collaborative environment.  Salary is competitive and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
