UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA, Mobile, AL. Asst. Prof., tenure track, beginning August 15, 2015. This position is funded in part by the USA-Paideia Hellenic Endowment. Area of Specialization: Ancient Greek Philosophy. Area of Concentration: Open (but must be qualified to teach courses in Ancient Greek Language and Culture). The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Philosophy at the time of appointment. Active research expected. Because we are searching for a candidate who can teach courses both in our Philosophy concentration and in our Classics concentration, we would prefer a candidate who has 18 hours or more in Graduate Level Classics courses or in Philosophy Courses, and who has an advanced knowledge of the Ancient Greek language and culture. |
