Assistant Professor (AOS: Social and Political Theory) (EXPIRED)

STANFORD UNIVERSITY, Stanford, CA., has an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in SOCIAL and POLITICAL THEORY.  The position may be in the Political Science or the Philosophy Department.  The term of appointment would begin September 1, 2015. Successful candidates must demonstrate substantial evidence of a creative research career, prospective or actual impact on his or her field of study, and a commitment to excellence in teaching and advising students at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the interdisciplinary Center for Ethics in Society (through teaching, advising, and participation in the intellectual life of the Center).
