Job description

The Political Theory Project at Brown will be appointing up to three postdoctoral fellows from fields such as Political Theory, Political Philosophy, Constitutional History, American Founding Period, Religion and Politics, Political Economy, Legal Theory, and History of Economic Thought. The Project is particularly interested in candidates who do innovative work at the intersection of ethics and economics, broadly construed. Fellows pursue their own research, participate in PTP working groups, and teach up to two courses a year (either individually or as part of a team). Salary is competitive. Appointment as Postdoctoral Research Associate is for one year. PhD must have been received within the previous three years. Applications should include CV, three confidential letters of reference, a one-page research plan, and a writing sample of no more than 20,000 words.
