| Job description |
With the sponsorship of the Society for the Humanities, the Department of Philosophy invites applications for a two-year Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship, beginning July, 2015. General area of interest: Seventeenth and Eighteenth Century Philosophy, with an interdisciplinary connection to Science and Technology Studies, History, Romance Studies, and German Studies. Stipend of $45,000 per academic year. Fellows have limited teaching duties and the opportunity for scholarly work. Eligibility: must have received Ph.D. after September 2009; applicants who will receive the Ph.D. by June 30, 2015 are eligible to apply. Mellon Fellowships are open to international applicants.
