The area of specialization is Early Modern Philosophy (including Kant). Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy by no later than June 30, 2015. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of philosophy courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and to teach courses that serve the needs of the interdisciplinary B.A. program in Arts and Contemporary Studies – a program which offers, among other courses, team-taught courses in the history of ideas.
