Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method Assistant Professor Salary is competitive and not less than £51,908 pa incl. The Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method is recruiting an Assistant Professor in Philosophy to play a leading role in the new four year BSc degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics being launched at the LSE in October 2015. To meet the curricular demands of this degree, candidates should be able to teach broadly in Philosophy of Economics, Philosophy of the Social Sciences, Methodology of the Social Sciences, Philosophy and Public Policy, Moral and Political Philosophy, or Business Ethics. Candidates should have a track record or trajectory of excellent publications and proven ability or potential to publish in top journals or with leading book publishers in Philosophy. Candidates should have a completed or be close to obtaining a PhD, in Philosophy or related field by the post start date and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
