Assistant Professor of History or Philosophy of Science at UIC (EXPIRED)

The Underwood International College (UIC) of Yonsei University, Korea invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the History or Philosophy of Science at the Yonsei International Campus in Songdo, located within the greater Seoul metropolitan region. Attention will be given to applicants who are capable of teaching undergraduate courses in the history or philosophy of science that fulfill the college’s scientific literacy requirement. Substantive research specialties are otherwise open but preference will be given to applicants who can contribute to the UIC curriculum in various fields, including but not limited to history, philosophy and sociology.

Teaching responsibilities are 6 credit-hours (2 classes) per semester. The starting date is March or September 2015. Compensation includes a competitive salary, health insurance and other benefits, subsidized housing (for up to 6 years), and a generous relocation and start-up package.
