Assistant or Associate Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Koç University invites applications for a full-time faculty position of any rank (beginning September 2015) in the following areas:

AOS: Metaphysics
AOC: Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, Logic

Duties include active research and publication, teaching at all levels, graduate supervision, and normal committee service. The standard teaching load is two courses per semester and there is no summer teaching. Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. in hand at the time of employment.

Located in Istanbul, Turkey, Koç University is a highly reputable  private English-instruction university. Founded in 2008, the Department of Philosophy is currently expanding and is planning to launch a Ph.D. program in September 2015. The successful candidate is expected to contribute significantly to this program.
