The Department of Political Science at William Jewell College seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in political economy to begin August 2015. The successful candidate’s Ph.D.-level preparation may be in political science, philosophy, economics, or a related field, but with a clear focus on political economy. In addition to theory and policy, we are particularly interested in candidates with teaching interests in religion and economics, and in Asia. We are seeking a liberally-educated colleague who understands and values a liberal arts education, who is committed to learning beyond the confines of a single academic specialty, and who sets that example for students.
