The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in the fall of 2015. AOS: Ethics and Applied Ethics, or Political Philosophy. AOC: History of Philosophy, or Aesthetics, or Logic. Bowling Green offers a Ph.d. and an M.A. in Applied Philosophy, an undergraduate major and an undergraduate minor in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law (PPEL). Candidates are expected to contribute to all these programs. Further information is available at www.bgsu.edu/philosophy. We have additional teaching needs in the history of philosophy, aesthetics, and logic. Applications must include a curriculum vitae, a writing sample of no more than 25 pages, three letters of recommendation, graduate transcripts, and evidence of teaching effectiveness. |
