The University of Texas at El Paso invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor Position. Anticipated appointment date is August 2015. AOS: Philosophy of Mind or Philosophy of Science (note that the department is open to a wide range of philosophical styles and approaches within these sub-fields). AOC: Open. We are seeking a candidate who will contribute to UTEP’s tradition of interdisciplinary cooperation and who can thrive in a pluralistic environment. Teaching load is six courses per year at the undergraduate and graduate level, scholarly research and service as appropriate. About UTEP: The University of Texas at El Paso is an emerging national research university at the heart of the U.S.-Mexico border region committed to the ideals of access and excellence. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. required prior to start of appointment. Candidates must be qualified to teach in a rapidly growing M.A. program and must show evidence of outstanding teaching and research potential. Salary: Salary commensurate with qualifications.
