Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

Misericordia University, Dallas, PA.  The Department of Philosophy invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (non tenure-track), beginning August 2015. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal. AOS: History of Western Philosophy.  AOC:  Open. The standard teaching load is 4/4.

PH.D. in Philosophy required. Preference will be given to candidates strongly conversant with the History of Western philosophy and who view work in the History of Philosophy as a way of engaging the discipline itself.

Candidates must provide evidence of excellent teaching. Only candidates with significant course work, teaching experience or scholarship in the History of Philosophy will be considered.
