Job description |
Full-time tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will assume a leadership role in the Science, Technology, and Society (STS) major degree program at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in the Department of Humanities. The candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution in teaching, service, and research. STS is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the social impacts and meaning of science and technology. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for interdisciplinary research. Ph.D. and two years of university teaching experience required. Salary will be based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Summer work may be available for additional compensation.
