Assistant or Associate Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Koç University invites applications for a full-time faculty position of any rank (beginning September 2015) in the following areas:

AOS: Applied Ethics

AOC: Normative Ethics, Metaethics.

The department is scheduled to open up an M.A. program in Applied Ethics in the Fall of 2015 and we are looking for a qualified candidate to assume a prominent role in establishing the program.  Other duties include active research and publication, teaching at all levels including the Ph.D., graduate supervision, and normal committee service. The standard teaching load is two courses per semester with no Summer teaching. Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. in hand at the time of employment. 

Located in Istanbul, Turkey, Koç University is a highly reputable private English-instruction university.
