| Job description |
Assistant Professor of Philosophy, tenure-track. 2 courses/semester, undergraduate and graduate, supervision of doctoral theses, typical committee and departmental duties. Area of Specialization: Ethics and/or Political Philosophy. Area of Competence: The department prefers candidates able to teach undergraduate courses in applied ethics/political philosophy. Ethics and Political Philosophy are major strengths of our department; we seek someone who complements and enhances our current faculty in these areas. This position also allows regular participation in the activities of Tulane's Murphy Institute Center for Ethics and Public Affairs, which supports many lectures, seminars, and conferences. |
