TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP AND ASSOCIATE PROFESSORSHIP/PROFESSORSHIP IN PHILOSOPHY Lincoln College and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Oxford, propose to make a joint appointment in Philosophy from 1 September 2015. The postholder will be a Tutorial Fellow of Lincoln College and an Associate Professor or Professor in the Faculty of Philosophy. The post is for a specialist in the fields of Moral and Political Philosophy. The successful candidate will have a proven record of internationally recognised scholarship and research and will be required to provide a high standard of research-led teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the supervision of research students. He or she will provide undergraduate tuition for Lincoln College in Moral Philosophy and Political Philosophy at both introductory and advanced undergraduate level, and in a range of further subjects in Philosophy. The Philosophy Faculty expects the successful candidate to give undergraduate lectures, graduate classes and individual graduate supervision in Moral and Political Philosophy, and to conduct advanced research in at least one of these areas. In addition the Faculty has teaching needs in Philosophy of the Social Sciences and would welcome applications from candidates also able to teach in this area. By 1 September 2015, the successful candidate must have received the degree of PhD (or equivalent), or attained a comparable level of publications. The combined College and University salary will be on a scale from £44,620 to £59,914 per annum. Additional College allowances are available as set out in the further particulars.
