Job description

A Doctoral Research Fellowship in Philosophy is available at the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas, at the University of Oslo (UiO).

The post will be associated with the project Thought and Sense. On the Interface between Perception and Cognition a FRIPRO projected funded by the Research Council of Norway (RCN). The person appointed will join a project team, including Associate Professor Sebastian Watzl (project manager) and Researcher Anders Nes.

The PhD fellow, as a member of the Thought and Sense Project, will have access to a wide network of national and international collaborators associated with the network. Research visits at these partner institutions may be arranged. In addition to being associated with Thought and Sense, the fellow will be a member of the Oslo’s Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature, and have access to the resources and activities of CSMN, as well as the wider hosting department.
