Job description

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is one of Germany’s leading business schools, accredited by AACSB and EQUIS. We seek to fill a Tenure-Track Position in Philosophy (open rank). 

We are looking for research excellence, regardless of the area of specialization. Interest in topics at the intersection of philosophy and economics together with competence in one of the following fields of research may be an advantage: Philosophy of the (social) sciences, Philosophy of economics, including game and decision theory, Theoretical philosophy more generally, Experimental philosophy or Applied ethics. We welcome applicants at assistant (tenure-track), associate and full professor level, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Prerequisite for junior candidates is a Ph.D. which has to be completed
by September 2015. We explicitly encourage international applications. German language skills are not required.


The successful candidate will show evidence of excellence in research and will be able to teach to the highest professional standards, contributing to teaching in the Management, Philosophy & Economics programme as well as other Master’s and executive development programmes.
