Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Carleton College invites applications for a four course replacement position (2/3 of the regular FTE, with full benefits) position beginning September 1, 2015, at the rank of visiting assistant professor.
AOS: Ancient
AOC: Open, but we have preference for Aesthetics, Animal Ethics, or non-Western philosophy.

PhD in hand by the date of the appointment. The teaching load for this position is four courses with the choice of teaching them over either two or three ten-week terms.

We are particularly interested in candidates committed to teaching a diverse student body.
