Job description |
The holder of this position is expected to contribute to the Australian Research Council funded research project “Meaning in Action: new techniques for language, logic and information” on proof theory, its philosophical foundations, and its connections to issues in semantics and pragmatics, broadly construed. The research fellow will be expected to engage in individual and collaborative research, to act as a co-supervisor of research students, and to play a role in administering the research project. The incumbent of this role is also expected to teach in and, at times, coordinate, undergraduate or postgraduate subjects. These include UNIB10002 (Logic: Language and Information), PHIL20030 (Meaning, Possibility and Paradox) and PHIL30043 (The Power and Limits of Logic). The teaching load will be no more than 1/4 of the workload of the successful candidate. |
