Visiting Lecturer in Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Humanities Department invites applications for a full time,10-month,Visiting Lecturer in Philosophy position beginning August 2015. Information about the department and our facilities can be found at:

Candidates must be able to teach a wide variety of undergraduate courses in Philosophy, from freshmen introductory to upper-level courses. Position entails a 4-4 teaching load. Candidates must have at least a Masters in Philosophy and are expected to show evidence of effective teaching. University and professional service will not be required of the position but will be encouraged.

Applicants should submit a cover letter which addresses the qualifications as listed above, a curriculum vita (CV), a teaching statement or philosophy, and university transcripts of undergraduate and graduate degrees. Three reference letters must be either included in the application or arrive under separate cover. Materials should be sent in .pdf format to Susan Wilson at [email protected].
