Job description |
2015 -16 Visiting Fellowships LSHTM is offering 2 visiting fellowships during the academic year 2015 – 2016 (Sept – June) for individuals wanting to conduct research on the relationships between ethics and science in global health. As a world leading institution engaged in the promotion of public health through top-rated scientific research, the LSHTM opens its doors to experienced individuals who wish to engage with practical and theoretical reflections on links between ethics and science. In particular we are interested in attracting individuals with an interest in the ethical and governance implications of institutionalized practices of scientific production. This includes exploring the science, research activities and governance processes at LSHTM. Visiting fellows will be provided with workspace, and be free to explore the three research faculties (Epidemiology and Population Health, Infectious and Tropical Diseases, and Public Health and Policy) as well as surrounding University of London institutions. Visiting fellows will be invited to participate in the activities of the Anthropology, Politics and Policy Group group (APP) within the Faculty of Public Health Policy and to contribute to the International Programme for Ethics, Public Health and Human Rights (IPEPH).
