| Job description |
The successful candidate will have an excellent publication record in international journals, relevant teaching experience, as well as considerable experience with third-party research funding. He or she should be interested in collaborating with other philosophical disciplines represented in the Department of Philosophy. These include the philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, ancient philosophy and medieval philosophy. The teaching load will be 3 courses at the BA or MA level per semester. The supervision of MA and Ph.D. theses as well as due contributions to the administration of the Department as well as the Faculty are expected. Geneva is a French-speaking university, thus teaching as well as administration for the most part take place in French. Compensation will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience. |
