Job description |
Associate Professor, Philosophy (Tenure Track). Teach undergraduate Philosophy courses. Engage in research and publish in scholarly journals and present at academic conferences. Student advisement. Participate in College and Departmental faculty meetings and committees. Be active in service to College and community. Requirements: Ph.D. in Philosophy. Demonstrated record or ability in undergraduate teaching (Philosophy). Primary research interest in philosophical psychology and virtue ethics of St. Thomas Aquinas. Solid publication record. Providence College is a Roman Catholic four-year liberal arts institution conducted under the auspices of the Dominican Friars and seeks candidates who can affirm and contribute to its mission.
