The Department of Philosophy at UMKC invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2016. Area of Specialization: Ancient Philosophy Area. Competence: Epistemology The candidate must be committed to teaching undergraduate courses and have a commitment to developing interdisciplinary courses with other schools and departments. Candidates must have a PhD in Philosophy by start of appointment and demonstrate outstanding research potential and teaching experience. The candidate must be committed to teaching undergraduate courses from a historical perspective and have an interest in developing interdisciplinary courses with other schools and departments.
