Job description |
The University of South Alabama’s Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin on August 15, 2016. ABD candidates will be considered, but an earned Ph.D. is expected by the time of appointment. Area of Specialization: OPEN. Areas of competency: Ancient, Philosophy of Law, or Logic. The ideal candidate would be able to teach in at least two of these areas. The applicant should address his or her suitability for teaching courses in the desired areas of competency in the cover letter.
