Professor or Associate Professor in Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Centre for Moral Philosophy and Applied Ethics is one of four research concentrations within the Institute for Religion and Critical Inquiry at the Australian Catholic University. The Institute, and the School of Philosophy, is part of the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy.

This senior position will suit an experienced and successful researcher in the area of philosophical ethics, and someone keen to mentor more junior academics and contribute to the developing research community. S/he will contribute to the research life of the Institute through high quality publications, research grant applications, seminar and conference participation, supervision of research students, and other such activity. Some coursework teaching may also be offered, as appropriate and available. Depending on the level and nature of experience, the successful applicant may provide formal leadership of the Centre for Moral Philosophy and Applied Ethics.
