Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Fordham University invites applications for a position in Pragmatism at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The position is a tenure-track position and commences in the fall semester of 2016.  The teaching load is 3/2 and includes both graduate and undergraduate teaching.  Responsibilities include teaching, establishing an outstanding scholarly trajectory, and providing service to the institution and the profession.  Applicants must have a Ph.D by June of 2016.  Successful applicants will have rigorous, innovative research agendas and demonstrate clear evidence of teaching excellence.  They will have a background in the history of philosophy and teaching ability in the core areas of Philosophy of Human Nature or Philosophical Ethics.  Applications must be submitted online at http://apply.interfolio.com/32046.
