The Department is looking to appoint a new Chair. The appointee will have an established international reputation in Philosophy, the ability and willingness to offer leadership within the Department and on the Department’s behalf within the University and the wider world, and possess research expertise relevant to the Department’s current and (anticipated) future profile. The Chair in Philosophy will be selected by a panel led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Janet Beer.
