Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at Rhodes College seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor to begin in August of 2016. Applicants should be committed to undergraduate teaching and professional scholarship and able to teach a broad range of courses in a liberal arts program. AOS in any of the following: Philosophy of Biology, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or Law. AOC: Open. The successful candidate will participate in the college’s interdisciplinary “Search for Values” program. We encourage applications from individuals whose interests go beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. The successful applicant must have earned a Ph.D. by July 1st, 2016.
