Job description |
The Department of English and Communications, which houses Norwich University’s philosophy program, seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy, beginning fall 2016, to teach seven courses per academic year. Applicants must have Ph.D. in hand no later than July 1, 2016. Candidates will be expected to teach introductory ethics and applied ethics courses (e.g., criminal justice, business, medical, environmental), with opportunities to develop special topics courses in other areas. Candidates must be enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring philosophy minors and other non-majors.
