Northeastern Illinois University is a comprehensive state university of over 10,000 commuter students located on a 67-acre campus in a residential neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago. Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning August, 2016. The Philosophy Program of Northeastern Illinois University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2016. AOS: Feminist Philosophy. AOC: one or more of the following: History of Analytic Philosophy, Philosophy of Language, and/or Philosophy of Science. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a 3-3 course load--including a variety of introductory courses, advanced courses, and courses in our General Education program--and will be an active scholar and participant in our vibrant department. Ph.D. in philosophy required at time of appointment.
