Job description |
The Philosophy Department at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for an appointment in the following area. AOS: Agency Theory, Moral Theory. AOC: Open. The position includes graduate and undergraduate teaching, 4 courses per year on the quarter system, thesis supervision and standard non-teaching duties. Ph.D. or ABD in Philosophy required, as well as compelling evidence of commitment to research and publication. The successful candidate must be committed to teaching effectively at all levels, including graduate mentoring. He or she will also be expected to enhance connections among research groups in the department and, where applicable, within the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Position available June 30, 2016. UCR is a world-class research university with an exceptionally diverse undergraduate student body.
