This postdoctoral fellowship program seeks to promote the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty at John Carroll University. The program does this by advancing the careers of emerging scholars from groups in U.S. society that have been historically underrepresented in the academic profession. It provides recent doctorate recipients the opportunity to advance their teaching expertise, advance their long term research agenda, and participate as an active member of the academic community. One of 28 Jesuit Catholic institutions of higher education (includes Georgetown, Fordham, Loyola(s), Seattle University, Marquette University, Fairfield University, Creighton University, Boston College, St. Louis University, Holy Cross, and others), John Carroll University is located in the Cleveland suburb, University Heights, OH.
