PHILOSOPHY INSTRUCTOR
SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCES TENURE-TRACK (10 MONTHS)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Philosophy OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy AND a Master’s degree in Humanities or Religious Studies OR
- A valid California Community College Instructor Credential OR
- The equivalent AND
- Ability to work in a multiethnic environment with students who have a variety of learning styles and abilities
Degree must be shown as conferred on transcript. Some degrees may require equivalency. It is the applicant’s responsibility to provide documentation to support equivalent qualifications.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- An interest and willingness to become involved in student clubs and activities
- PhD from an accredited institution
- Experience with quality online instruction
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary and other terms of employment are competitive. Placement is on the District Contract Monthly Faculty Salary Schedule which is available on-line at http://www.pasadena.edu/hr/compensation.cfm.
